Occupational Therapy

Occupational therapists (OTs) are professionals focused on achieving independence in all areas of their clients’ lives. Our OTs help children with physical, sensory, or cognitive delays to become as independent as possible. Common occupations that we work on with children are play, social skills, self-care, and various school-based activities.

Our evaluations assess sensory processing, fine and gross motor skills, visual motor/perceptual skills, and activities of daily living. Project Play Therapy’s approach is evidence-based and results-driven, as we believe this is the foundation for valid interventions and the facilitation of optimal outcomes.

All of our therapists and specialists have advanced professional training and experience with a variety of disabilities including autism spectrum disorder, Down syndrome, developmental delays, ADHD, cerebral palsy, orthopedic impairment, and more.
