At Project Play Therapy (PPT), our job is to help others see and celebrate each child’s unique gifts. We open doors by fostering opportunities for growth and independence through play. We specialize in speech, occupational, physical, and ABA therapy in both school and clinic settings. In addition, we provide school psychological services, counseling, and teletherapy.

PPT is currently seeking clinic and school Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). The position is a full-time salary, direct service position at Project Play Therapy. The BCBA is expected to use innovation, leadership, and problem solving to engage stakeholders in order to provide quality services. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Client Service

  • Develop and strengthen relationships with stakeholders to establish rapport and trust
  • Establish and maintain cohesive communication and excellent service delivery, including treatment planning, progress monitoring, and training.
  • Adapt communication style to meet the needs of each stakeholder and PPT employees
  • Demonstrate inclusion, problem-solving, and proactive communication
  • Work within a team environment that values communication, accountability and collaboration
  • Foster good-will with current customers, in order to ensure client satisfaction

Operations

  • Maintain scheduling to ensure timely delivery of quality services
  • Communicate schedule conflicts, cancellations, plans for make-up sessions, or other scheduling needs
  • Design goals and expectations of services in order to effectively execute and meet outcomes, while providing supervision, support, and feedback to school stakeholders, behavior technicians, and others
  • Conduct assessments, progress reports, data analysis, changes to treatment protocols, and other necessary reporting
  • Train and supervise behavior technicians on implementation of services
  • Grow delivery service model, using innovation to address individual school needs
  • Follow BACB Ethical Compliance Code and PPT BCBA handbook
  • Collaborate with other PPT providers to create and communicate data and produce reports to show impact of services and achievement of outcomes
  • Oversee quality assurance within behavior service delivery
  • Collaborate with all coworkers to increase shared organizational outcomes and successes

Candidate Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Special Education (preferred) or another related field
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) in good standing with the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB)
  • In the process of obtaining a Tennessee State License as a Behavior Analyst from the Health-Related Board
  • Ample experience conducting skills and behavior assessments, collaborating with stakeholders and other service providers
  • Must be comfortable leading meetings with outside stakeholders, internal management and/or other stakeholders.
  • Ability to problem solve effectively and expediently to meet and surpass the needs of clients
  • Ability to provide service in a way that promotes a culture of community, excellence, and efficiency.
  • Must be comfortable working with clients with a range of abilities and disabilities
  • Evidence of good written and oral language skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Able to work both independently and in a team environment
